Hamed Wardak's work for the people of Afghanistan and his financial support of various important projects undertaken by the U.S. Association for the U.N. Refugee Agency.

Hamed Wardak makes generous donations to the U.S. Association for the U.N. Refugee Agency in an effort to assist some of Afghanistan’s most vulnerable citizens. The organization is currently looking for additional financial aid to back emergency situations including this year’s project, the “voluntary return and reintegration of Afghan refugees and internally displaced persons back to their home country.” This organization has helped over five million Afghans return home which makes it “the largest voluntary repatriation organized by UNHCR in the last 10 years.” In addition, over 1.4 million Afghans benefitted from the UNHCR’s 9,000 water program “in high or potential return areas as well as those hit by drought.” In addition to this work, the organization “is trying to conduct confidence-building measures to promote peaceful inter-ethnic co-existence.” All of these efforts are great news for those working towards a better Afghanistan.
