Hamed Wardak and US-Afghanistan Relations

Hamed Wardak, founding vice president of the Afghan-American Chamber of Commerce, spends much of his time seeking ways to strengthen relations between the two countries. Recent developments via Afghan’s Finance Ministry and America’s Ambassador to Afghanistan run very much along these lines.  The Ambassador, along with Afghan’s Finance Ministry’s officials recently activated two new and seven reconstructed Inland Customs Depot Warehouses in Kabul.

It is always helpful for Afghanistan to receive funding from America, as it attests to the improvement in the quality of relations between the two countries.  This project garnered $1.2m in funding from the government of America.
